A software upgrade: new look and automatic research profile

New version of software behind RAS features numerous bugfixes and improvements. Read on about some of them.
Look and feel
New look and feel makes service easier to use. Now you can access all the main profile screens through a one-line menu. Navigate between profile parts with a right-side pane (in affiliations profile and research profile).
Research profile
Research profile has been re-designed. Each distinct function now has a separate sub-screen.
Research profile’s automatic search has been improved. It now searches among the editors names, not only the authors. It now additionally matches your email address to email addresses of document authors to find appropriate items.
Automatic update of research profile
We now will do automatic research profile searches for our users periodically. When anything interesting comes up, system will notify the user by email. If a document record points to a particular personal record (through id or short-id)—the document will be added to the person’s profile. Users can switch their preferences (allowing or disallowing automatic addition of items) on the automatic update preferences screen.
This feature still depends on your name variations, specified in your profile.
